Educational Support Services

What: The Educational Support Program helps students reach their full academic potential. It encourages the confidence to compete with peers and achieve self sufficiency. The Educational Specialist, Program Coordinators, mentors, parents and school staff act as adult advocates for our students. Students work toward achieving their goals through an individualized plan culminating in high school and ultimately become successful, independent adults.

Who: The Educational Support Program is available to all students who are currently working directly with Best Friends of Neenah-Menasha and are receiving support services through our mentoring program. This includes Community Based and Site Based Programs, the SHARE Program, Guy Stuff and our Waiting List.

When: Our goal is to reach students early and provide support, instill the importance of education, grades, homework and attendance. Goals are reviewed and adjusted on a yearly basis.

Educational Support

Best Friends of Neenah Menasha would like to see the students in our program succeed. It is our goal that every student graduate from high school and go on to pursue a career or post-secondary opportunity that they are passionate about. Middle and High School are not easy and we want to use the resources of Best Friends and the community to ensure that our students have every opportunity for academic success!
