After-School Mentoring

After-School Mentoring is held Monday at Neenah High School and Wednesday at Menasha High School between the hours of 3:30 - 4:30 pm during the months of November through April.  After-School Mentoring is a great way for high school students, freshman and older, to get involved in their community.  Elementary and middle school students are bused to the high school where they meet with their mentor once per week.  It is very convenient for the mentor as the student comes to them. One hour a week is all it takes to make a difference in the life of a child.

Mentor Eligibility: Must be at least a freshman in high school and not a parent of a child enrolled in our program.  You cannot be undergoing current treatment for substance abuse. All mentors are subject to a thorough screening process.

Mentee Eligibility: Must be at least 5 years old. Reside in the Town of Menasha, City of Menasha, Town of Neenah, City of Neenah, or attend school within the Neenah and Menasha Joint School Districts.  Matches may continue if either party moves out of the area as long as both parties agree.

After-School Mentoring looks great on college applications, job applications and is a fun way to gain service hours!
