Job Title: Manager, Tax
John Werner is a manager in Grant Thornton's Wisconsin tax practice, based in Appleton. John joined Grant Thornton in 2009 and has over eight years of tax experience, specializing in S-Corporation and individual and trust tax compliance and consulting. He is responsible for meeting the tax service needs of clients. This includes assisting with completing tax compliance filings and consulting with clients to offer advice and solutions. John works with a broad range of clients, specializing in serving the manufacturing and construction industries.
Tiffany Carter, Vice-President
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Tiffany Carter is a Mechanical Engineer at Miller Electric Mfg Co, an ITW welding company, in Appleton, Wi. Tiffany started as an intern in 2011 after four internships with two other companies and has since held several roles within Miller Electric. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin- Platteville.
Tiffany resides in Greenville, Wi with her husband, Tony, and two children, Blaise and Finley. In her spare time, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, and volunteering in the community.
Tiffany joined the Best Friends Board of Directors in 2014 and has held several roles within the Executive Board and Sub-committees. She is also the founder and chair of Smart Girls Rock! STEM Outreach Program in the Fox Cities, started the ITW YPN Appleton Chapter at Miller, and has many other charitable interests. Her work in the community and professional career led her to earn a 2017 Future 15 award from the PULSE Young Professional Network/Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce.
Nathan Bilodeau, Treasurer
Job Title: Private Banking Specialist
Nathan Bilodeau is a Private Banking Specialist with Associated Bank's Private Client Services. He is responsible for providing customized banking solutions to the meet the financial and business goals for his high net worth clients. Nathan provides financial expertise on bank products and services to his clients through collaborative engagement with the Commercial Banking, Business Banking, Private Client and Institutional Services, Retail and Mortgage Banking teams. He strives to obtain and in-depth understanding of client's situation, goals, and family dynamics in order to provide the best services possible. A member of the Associated team since 2010, Nathan brings over 7 years of financial services excellence to the team and has earned his Certified Wealth Strategist Designation®.
Brian Rhodes, Secretary
Job Title: Director of Human Resources
Brian Rhodes is the Director of Human Resources for
Oshkosh Corporation's Defense segment located in
Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Brian joined Oshkosh Corporation in 2014
after nearly 7 years with the Goodyear Tire &
Rubber Company in a variety of Human Resource positions
across the southern United States. He holds a
Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management from the
University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and a MBA from East
Brian lives in Neenah with his wife, Amy, two kids, Ben (6) and Aubree (4), and two dogs, Anika and Duke. Aside from spending time with his family, Brian enjoys golfing and playing basketball. In addition, he is an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and Carolina Panthers football teams.
Brian joined the board for Best Friends of Neenah-Menasha in February of 2016 and is also a member of the organizations Personnel and Gourmet Bike Tour Committees.
Job Title: Director of Lending
Phil Jankowski is the Director of Lending for Fond du Lac Credit Union. He has served in the credit union industry for many years and was instantly hooked by the "People Helping People" approach. Phil has been involved with several local non-profits and is dedicated to improving the lives of others. Phil graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a BS in English. He has been a board member since 2012 and a mentor since 2005. He was honored with Best Friends Volunteer of the Year Award in 2016. Phil lives in Neenah with his wife Holly, son, daughter and cats. He enjoys golfing, running and traveling.
Job Title: Sr. Quality Consultant
Jeff Williams is a Global Quality Consultant for Kimberly Clark. He has been with Kimberly Clark for 25 years. Jeff joined the Best Friends Neenah Menasha Board of Directors in 2009 and has held several roles, including Past-President. Jeff is involved with many subcommittees and has been a mentor for 5 years.
